Hi everyone,

Last weekend was the New England QSO party. I know many of our members were
on the air during the event. Both of our club callsigns were activated also,
that was pretty cool!

Ed, KB1NWH was running with the W1NY call from his home, and Dave, AA1YW and
I were using WB1Z from Dave's vacation home in VT. I know for sure I heard
W1NY and KB1MU. I also believe KC1V was on as well.

I'm putting together a short article for Zero Beat this month as well as a
web page showing our clubs efforts. If those of you who operated the contest
would be so kind as to send me your preliminary results I would love to list
them in both places. It doesn't need to be fancy, just the number of Q's,
multipliers worked and a total score estimate would be fine.

Also some 'soapbox' comments would be great. Not only do they let others
know what happened to you during the contest they are a great way to get
others interested in doing it next year.

Please either drop me an email directly with your scores and comments or
send it out to the list. The more that see, the more that play and that's
what it is all about.

I think it says a lot for HCRA and our activity level when we see a club of
around 120 people have this many people out there having fun. I can't wait
for FD, at this rate it should be spectacular.

Don't forget about the tailgate party and the elections on June 1st.
