[HCRA] 6m open to 6-land

I'm off today but guess I missed it again. Server meltdown at the office has
taken a lot of my time today.
Anyway, I just gave a quick listen but didn't hear anything on either band.
For those of you listening on 6M, 50.125 is the DX calling frequency. Listen
there and up from there to around 50.150. If the band gets busy it will
spread higher.
On 10M it tends to be more spread out but start at 28.500 and work your way
down. If the band is open you will usually hear some activity between 28.500
down to 28.350.
Good luck, have fun and work some DX!
Jim, KK1W

I worked two Texas stations earlier on 10m, which is as incredible an
occurrence as it gets down this end of the cycle. Half the problem, I
suspect, is just that nobody's calling. Both of the 5-lands called me, so I
would advise shouting out a few CQ's. I was just under 28.3.
I tried the same on 15m, but no such luck there. We 15m guys will have to
wait about another year before it sounds any louder. I will probably try
some 15m gray line later, since the JA's are coming in (barely, and only
CW), but give that a try as well.
Sorry, no 6m from here, but I took a look at the spots and - yes - there are
W1's spotting W6's. KO1D's "magic band" might be just that after all (not
from here, though).
