Well folks we are back.

The 6 meter activity night will fire up once again on 52.510 FM simplex at
7:00 p.m. Mike has his vertical and beam up, I am back on 6m and I know you
too will be there. But wait there's more! This once in a week offer comes
not once, not twice, but three times!

We are not alone...well ok we know about UFOs but on 6m? Yes there is a 6m
SSB net Tuesdays and Thursdays from about 8:15 p.m. until about 9:00 p.m. on
50.130 USB. The net is based around Montgomery County, MD specifically the
Rockville and Germantown areas. please say HI to our neighbors to the north
in FM19 (you are FM18 if you live in most of Fairfax or all of Arlington,
Falls Church and Alexandria. For others not sure so you have to check out
your grid on the ARRL Grid pages. http://www2.arrl.org/locate/locate.html )

But still more....to improve this outstanding offer you get the following
free!

January VHF Contest

Start time: 1900 UTC Saturday Jan 20

End time: 0400 UTC Monday Jan 22

Rules: http://www2.arrl.org/contests/rules/2007/jan-vhf-ss.html

Exchange: Call Sign and Grid Square (Ex: WA9ZZZ EN00)

Modes: Usually USB, FM and CW however there are people on WSJT, PSK and
other things if you poke around

Frequencies: All bands 50MHz and up

So how about getting on the air and working a few contacts. You know those
bands that are always dead will be alive and at least 6-432 will feature the
KO1D/KF4PPF tag team so chime in and make yourself heard!
