[HCRA] Something of interest for FT-897/857 Owners

Hi,

Ran across this on the FT-896 Yahoo group.  Looks like we should have 
something interesting in the April QST.  I think I have seen other projects 
Neno has done (on the Web) and they have been well designed.  This one 
should be good too.

I have used a 897D since 2004.
I am more then satisfied with it as base station, especialy after I built 
small MIC port interface board.

Now I have second CAT, PTT footswitch and standard PC headset connect to 897 
also.

In April, QST will publish my article about interface board and I hope lot 
of 897 owners will build it to improve 897's capability for base station 
operation.
