Den,

Thanks for the information and frequency used. At the time of the original post
regarding getting a SSTV net going, I could not remember what frequency we used.
I did a number of postings not just on YahooGroups, but on other places on the
web as well. So for this week, we’ll stay on 147.480, no PL.

I’ll do an initial call out on 147.480 simples, no PL and commence sending SSTV
on or about 8:00 PM [EST] on Friday, February 23, 2007.

It was suggested (off-list) to me that in addition to sending data via SSTV on
VHF, perhaps we should communicate via phone on UHF for signal reports and for
coordinating which station would next send their pic and for signal reports.

I’m going to check with Richard – KD1XP to see if we can use the 442.200 (+) [PL
173.8] repeater as the UHF coordination frequency. If the repeater is needed, or
those of us in the SSTV net can reach each other via UHF simplex, we can always
move the UHF phone frequency.

This sked is not set in stone, in the future, frequencies, day(s), time(s) and even mode(s)
may be subject to change to suit the group.

Who knows, perhaps after a number of us upgrade, we can do some SSTV on HF! Now
that’s cool and something to look forward to!

What say group? Comments, concerns, criticisms…flowers?
