Hello to all....

Danny Musten-KD4RAA, IRLP Net Manager will be linking up a
Hurricane 2006 Outlook Presentation put on by Jeff Orrock,
KI4KXX, Warning Coordination Meteorologist at the National
Weather Service in Raleigh, North Carolina. The presentation
will take place tonight at 7:30 PM. There is an accompanying
Power Point presentation (in ppt and pdf formats) available at
http://n4tab.com/nchurricane/june_2006.html for those
interested in the presentation.

The NWS Raleigh Office has done several presentations on the
air for local Amateurs in the Raleigh area and Danny-KD4RAA
will be linking a local IRLP node to IRLP Raleigh reflector 9219
and the  *WX-TALK* Node: 7203 integrated conference system
so that  others who maybe interested in the presentation can
hear it. This also has been done in years past. It is noted that
Danny has a tight schedule tonight work wise but should have
enough time to link the prensentation to the conference system.

If everything works out well with no issues in hearing this
presentation, the weekly hurricane prep nets and activations
will move back to IRLP reflector 9219 and the *WX-TALK*
Node: 7203 integrated conference. Another note will be sent
and the weekly net calendar announcement altered if that
move takes place.
