[HCRA] question on EMI/ RF power density

Hello, my name is Matthew Allen, and I'm an undergraduate at UMass Amherst. I'm
studying mechanical engineering, and I was wondering if perhaps any of you
could lend me some advice/expertise in regards to a research project I'm
working on this summer. I am trying to get an idea of what the
magnetic/rf/electrical field is around commercial wind turbines, but I've been
having trouble finding information on the subject. The turbine I'm looking at
specifically produces 3MW at the generator, so I am assuming the EM field
extends pretty far. How would you recommend measuring the RF power density? I
was thinking perhaps I could just measure the RF power density at 60 Hz- what
type of test equipment would I need to do this? I thought this research might
interest the ARRL and the amateur community, considering the EMI produced by
wind turbines of this scale.

Anyway, thanks for any help/insight you can provide.
