Gang,

This should have made this month's Zero Beat but it got lost in my inbox.
The weather should be good, might be fun to take a trip south and see some
neat airplanes!

To all HCRA members:

Here is the information on the next two events at our field.

June 3 & 4 will be an all-scale fly in. This event is open to any scale
aircraft of any size. There should be some large aircraft there.

July 9th will be the annual Dawn Patrol event. This is a well-attended
event, restricted to airplanes ¼ scale or larger and they must pre-date
WWII. You will see many aircraft like the ones I brought, and some larger.

During the summer our meetings are held at the field with a free picnic
beginning around 5:30pm. The meetings are scheduled for June 8th, July 13th
and August 10th (the second Thursday of each month).

Admission to the events is free, parking is free.

I’d like to extend an invitation to HCRA members and their families to join
us at any of these events, and they are more than welcome to come to the
field meetings. There is always some ‘interesting’ flying at them (sometimes
even the president will fly!).

More information is available at our website, www.ncrcc.org

Bob is a recent graduate of Norm's ham class, working on upgrading to extra
in the near future. He is also president of NCRC and as you can see would
welcome any of our members to see some great R/C flying. If you attended the
January HCRA meeting you got a chance to see a few of Bob's outstanding WW1
aircraft.

Maybe I'll bump into some of you over the weekend, I plan on stopping by.
