[HCRA] Club Meeting Tonight

Well gang,

The weather is FB and our first meeting of 2006 is tonight.

The guest speaker will be Bob LaFlamme from NCRCC. He will be talking about
radio control aircraft, yet another way to enjoy the ham radio hobby. Bob
will have a few 1/4 scale aircraft tagging along with him to whet your
appetite for this exciting hobby.

Tonight's raffle prize is a complete, ready-to-fly R/C airplane. It even
comes with the radio and batteries.

We have a lot to talk about tonight as well. With the auction in November
and the Holiday Party in December we have let our regular club business
slide a bit. Field Day 2005 results are in, as well as the ARRL 10M
preliminary results. Lots of good DX in wings also as well as the January
VHF test. And of course the next HCRA ham class starts in late February.
