[HCRA] Tonight's guest speaker

Hi everyone,

For all of you that attended tonight's meeting I know you were enthralled
and excited by Donna's presentation. Her knowledge of the subject and
incredibly energetic presentation made this February 3rd a high point in
HCRA speakers.

Ms. Halper journeyed a long way last night to share her knowledge with us. I
don't know about you but I left knowing I learned some new stuff as well as
a better understanding of how ham radio affected the broadcast industry
right from the beginning.

Also, if you or someone you know could provide some historical information
about broadcasting in the Springfield area I'm sure Donna would welcome it.
Her passion is media history and the people that created it - lets see if we
can return her favor to us with some of our own.

As always thanks for coming tonight and showing your support not only for
HCRA but for our hobby and your fellow hams - a hobby that shaped the media
as we know it today.
