[HCRA] 10 Meter Contest Article

There is a very complete article about the 10 meter contest by WB2AMU on the
ARRL web site at: http://www.arrl.org/news/features/2006/11/30/1/. Even if
you are not planning on participating (you're not?) it is well worth the
read. Ken talks about the history of the contest and some comments about
operating over three solar cycles. He makes an excellent case that operating
at the bottom of the solar cycle (like now) will still produce many
contacts.

So read the article, dust of the rig and spend some quality time on the
radio this weekend. You will have a much better time than battling the
crowds at the mall. Don't forget to put Hampden County Radio Assn. in the
affiliated club line of your log.
