Now's the time to watch your mailbox for the September edition of Zero Beat
- it should be arriving shortly.

Speaking of this month's guest speaker, that would be Tom, K1KI. Tom is the
New England Director for ARRL and will be speaking on (among other things)
ARRL services that are available to you. Have you taken advantage of all the
ARRL programs? Learn what they are and how they can make your experience of
ham radio more enjoyable.

This month's raffle prize will be a Yaesu VX-150R, 2 meter HT. For a small
donation of $1 (or 6 for $5) you could go home the winner of this very nice
walkie-talkie. While your there, don't forget to fill out the renewal
application bound in this month's Zero Beat and bring it along. The quicker
we get all our renewals in the healthier HCRA becomes. As in past years
everyone the renews before the end of the October meeting will be put into a
special "sign-up" raffle. The prize is still being discussed but it will be
a good one.
