[HCRA] Venture Crew 510 - The New and the Old

Historically, Venture Crew 510  (our DX Crew) has met at the HCRA meetings.

I would like to have a small, informal meeting with anyone (youth and adults) interested in being a part of Venture Crew 510 during the coming season just before the HCRA meeting starts, for the purpose of finding another evening this month to get together as a group and decide the crew's future.

    Many of the "charter" members of Crew 510 have aged out or lost interest in ham radio.  College, work, or other persuits have consumed their time, and we have had very poor attendance at many of our scheduled events.
    Still, there seems to be a want to continue Crew activities, and the benefits to our youth and the club, make trying to re-start the Crew worthwhile.

    I have spoken to some new youth and adults about making another go of it.  
    When we first started, in 2001, we had an 11 year old member... and he is still interested, and an integral part of Crew 510.  Having said that, I would like to invite all youth, 10 and over,  interested in coming along with us and being part of "the Crew" as honorary members.  Honorary members have all the same rights that officially registered Crew members have, except that they cannot, by BSA rules join as an official Crew member.

    
    So....   old crew members, new crew members to be, adults....   please let me know you're interested by joining me at 7:PM, just before the HCRA meeting this Friday.
