Here's an update for communications for the crop walk happening in Monson
this sunday...
As of this writing, the weather forecast for Sunday is mostly cloudy with a
chance of sprinkles. The walk should still happen. If there's a change,
I'll send out an e-mail on Sunday morning and make a couple announcements on
the 147.105 repeater.
Talk in, should anybody need it will be on 147.105+ pl 162.2.
For the actual event, we will use 146.55 simplex.
The area for the event is fairly small and a 2m HT will do the job just
fine.
The walk starts at 1:00p, so if everybody can show up by 12:30p that would
be great. Everything should be all done by 3:00p
We will meet at First Church of Monson. 3 High Street. Monson.
In the past there have been 60 to 70 walkers (some will run the course).
This year, they are combining with 2nd Congregational in Palmer so there
might be more. I'll try to get a count on Sunday.
