Hello all,
I'm looking for an older (read "cheap") 2-m multi-mode rig. Years ago I
used a TS-700S and it seemed like a nice rig as I remember. I'm
wondering
if anyone in the club has owned one or used one enough to be able to
offer
an opinion. As it is an old rig, I'm interested in how repairable it
would
be (custom ICs, transistors, etc.). I know the receiver is far from
being
"hot", but I think a good FET in the front end should make it usable. I
would like to try out a little 2-m ssb and cw.
Thanks and 73,
George, KC1V
