[HCRA] Holiday Party this Friday!

Hi everyone,

This Friday, December 2nd, is our annual Holiday Party. Join all your HCRA
friends for a scrumptious meal, play 'Ham Jeopardy', win door prizes or
purchase a ticket to win a Radio Shack Trunking Scanner. Your club will be
supplying all the food you desire but if you have a favorite dish or dessert
please bring it along. I've never seen a ham turn down a snack!

The fun starts at 6:30 PM at the Feeding Hills Congregational Church (the
regular meeting place) and will go to about 8:30 or 9:00 PM. Back again this
year is 'Ham Jeopardy'. Up to eight people will be able to compete for a
free year's membership in HCRA. You better start boning up on your ham
trivia!

The HCRA is also continuing the Toy Drive started at the auction. Please
bring along an unwrapped toy for donation to the ARRL/Salvation Army Toy
Drive. All the toys collected will be distributed to displaced children from
the Gulf hurricanes earlier this year.

Also this year will be a special BSA ceremony for John Cain, KB1FTX. John
completed his qualification for Eagle this year and it will be presented to
him during the party. Please join John and his friends celebrating this
great achievement.

John, Kx1x is organizing the party this year. If you would like to help out

I know he would appreciate the help.

As always, friends and guests are always welcome. So if you would like to
introduce someone you know to our hobby and our club bring them along. There
is always room for everyone at HCRA.
