[HCRA] Your Are Cordially Invited to the Holiday Party

Its hard to belive that the holidays are already right around the corner.

   On December 2nd, 2005, the HCRA will have its annual Holiday Party, starting at 6:30, at the Feeding Hills congregational church.  The HCRA will provide the following:  a cheese sampler, cold cut platters, ziti, meatballs, coffee, and sodas.  Tablecloths, plates, utensils, and cups will also be provided.
   There is no cost to members and one guest.  We are asking, however, that you consider bringing a dish or dessert to supplement what is provided.  Please send me an e-mail or call to let me know if you'll bringing something, so we don't have duplicates.  My e-mail is   kx1x at arrl.net    or call  413-262-5249.


   After the meal, we have two different program venues.

   First, please join us in congratulating John Cain, KB1FTX.  John has completed requirements for his Eagle rank through our Crew 510, and will be awarded his medal in a short ceremony.  The HCRA sponsors BSA Venture Crew 510.

   After the Eagle ceremony, eight players will get a chance to win an HCRA membership playing in the return of Ham Jeopardy!  We'll have answers and questions about callsigns, DX entities, rules and regs, local ham trivia, as well as other ham related categories.
