[HCRA] Tail Gate Party Tomorrow Night

Hey everyone,

Have you got your stuff ready? It's getting close, less than 24 hours away.

Forgot about it, didn't you? Well, sellers are $5, buyers are free - it
start's at about 6:00 PM. The weather is supposed to just perfect so we
should have a great time. I just finished loading up my truck, but still
have some more stuff to pick up tomorrow. I will have some Pentium PC's that
will be going for very reasonable prices (and it all goes to HCRA) that were
donated by my employer.

Andy & Erik will be there with the sound system. Of course raffle prizes,
including some ARRL Field Day 2005 T-shirts. After the tailgate party will
be the annual elections and then we will discuss Field Day organization.

This marks the end of another year for HCRA. We are ending up with 104 paid
members and total membership of over 160. The treasury is in fine shape. A
very successful Technician class followed up by a CW training class and a
parade of excellent speakers at our meetings. With Jim's effort we will be
operating a special event station at the Westfield Air Show in August. We've
gained some new board members and are set for another great year in
2005/2006.

And lets not forget about Field Day. We've tweaked it a bit this year to
save on park rental charges but it should be the same fun event we have come
to appreciate over the last five years. Try to keep your calendars clear for
June 25-26, you won't be disappointed.

How did all this happen, only with the support of an active, engaged
membership. Keep up the good work, enjoy your hobby and I look forward to
seeing most of you at Field Day.
