Greetings again, all, from K2BSA/4, Ft. AP Hill, VA.
We've been able to work a couple of HCRA members from here in the last couple of days....
I worked Dave, AA1YW, on Sunday evening, on 20m. Dave was operating QRP from his Vermont QTH.
Mike, KB1FWN, worked Ernie, K1EJB, on 40m today.
We'd like to work others from the 1 call district, especially HCRA members! K2BSA/4 is on the air everyday... typically at or around 14.290 and 7.270 Mhz.
We are also on 20m PSK31 most nights, but that is on a low dipole antenna.
Late at night, we've taken to working contacts on 40m CW at 7.030 Mhz. (Yeah, even I'm -- at least listening -- to that beep beep stuff.
We have a sked with the Moses Scout Reservation at 8:PM tomorrow night. I'm not sure if we'll be able to make the sked, because the opening arena show was cancelled tonight because of extreme heat and an incoming severe thunderstorm.
Finally, tomorrow is forcasted to be in the (comparatively) frigid 80's.
The president is now scheduled to make his appearance tomorrow night, but that has not been officially announced. If the arena show does go on tomorrow night, it may not be possible to work the sked.
With 6 days to go, you should be able to work the K2BSA/4 station and/or send some NTS mail. (Forward NTS mail to BSA Jamboree, Fredericksburg, VA).
