[HCRA] Next Club Meeting - January 6th 2006!

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!

As 2005 winds down with just a few days left we are only a week away from
the next HCRA club meeting. On tap next year (month!) will be a great first
meeting. Bob LaFlamme from the Northern Connecticut Radio Control Club
(NCRCC) will be visiting us. He will be talking about radio control aircraft
(what a surprise) and what a neat fit it is to the amateur radio hobby. In
addition to an exciting presentation Bob will be bringing along a few
quarter scale models for us to feast our eyes upon.

To go along with the January meeting subject the monthly raffle will feature
a complete, ready to fly, R/C airplane. The FlyZone Ventura, a 40" wingspan
powered glider, comes complete with everything you need to start flying -
including the radio. A $125 value it can go home with you for as little as a

In addition to the subject of R/C we will be having our usual great meeting,
including the raffle, coffee & donuts and of course the best group of ham
'nuts' in the Pioneer Valley.
