            From the looks of the FTDX9000, if the 18-wheeler needed to
transport it made it to your house, and the forklift was strong enough to
get it into the shack, you would have a tremendous radio with a tin-foil
roofing filter and a keyclick capable of clearing 20m.
            Maybe the FT2000 would be "more reasonable".  Anyway, I like the
display better, especially the analog meter.  I don't like that they "hid"
the second VFO knob, but this is all just from the looks of it.  I don't
think I'll ever have the spare change to own one, but trust me, if I got the
chance...............
