Hey everyone,

Thanks to the efforts of Kx1x the web site is back on line. Isn't it amazing
what happens when we don't pay our bills.

I hope everyone is having an enjoyable summer and is getting ready for ham
radio fun in the fall. We've got lots of stuff happening already.

The special event station at the Barnes Air Show is just a few weeks away.
Give Jim, KB1JVF a call if you would like to help out with the station,
watch the air show and have fun at the same time.

Shortly after that is our first meeting after summer vacation. The speaker
is still open at the moment but you can count on it being a good one. And a
great welcome back raffle prize to boot. Don't forget to bring a friend.

Immediately following the September meeting will be HCRA's opportunity to
man the ham radio booth at the Big-E. Here's your chance to see the Big-E
and promote ham radio. More details to follow - volunteers needed.

Lots of stuff in just a few short weeks - get ready to have fun!
