This Friday is our annual auction. I hope you have pulled all your old stuff
out, dusted it off and have it ready to turn it into cash this Friday. It
looks like this year's auction is shaping up to be another great event. We
have accumulated a lot of donations to HCRA over the past months, including
a Heathkit SB-200 amplifier and spare 572B tubes. Lots of stuff and good
bargains too!

This will also be your last chance to win the Icom IC-703 HF rig at the
raffle. Wouldn't it look nice sitting in your shack? And for only a $1
ticket?

Propagation has been great, I hope everyone had an opportunity to work some
good HF openings over the weekend. The CQ WW SSB contest was on and the
bands were full of countries from all over the world. Don't tell anyone but
our editor scored over one million points and still managed to get out Zero
Beat too. He will probably be tired at work tomorrow.
