Well gang, it's less than a day until 'showtime'! Are you ready???

Set-up starts tomorrow at 2:00 PM at Dufresne Park. It looks like everyone
is prepared but if anyone else wants to show up and assist I know you won't
be turned away :>).

If you are going to be involved in the set-up I urge you to either look at
the schedule on the web page (http://www.hcra.org/schedule.htm) or print out
a copy of the spreadsheet attached to this email. This schedule is a good
guide to what needs to be done when as the next 48 hours progresses. Like
all big jobs, this one is made much easier by each and everyone doing their
small part.

The weather looks like it will be a non-problem, all we need is some good
propagation and HCRA FD will be flying. Remember we have a lofty goal of
9100 points so it's going to require some good operating skill after 2:00 on
Saturday. We will have a bunch of contest quality stations just waiting for
operators so 'come on down'.

At this stage of the game things are just about 'cast in stone' so if you
would like to participate take a look at what is already scheduled and see
how you can fit yourself in. Locations have been marked for towers, antennas
and housing to minimize inter-station interference.

Don't forget in addition to ham radio and operating we will also be having a
menu extraordinaire! Andy will be cooking up a storm culminating in spit
roasted beef for the Saturday evening entrée.

So pack your bags and your appetite and I'll see you at Dufresne Park this
weekend.

Jim, KK1W
