[HCRA] WB1Z - SK

Hi everyone,

With deep sadness I pass on this information. Jim Allen, WB1Z, succumbed =
to
a year long battle with cancer yesterday. Jim was very active in ham =
radio,
participating in foxhunts, dxing, and SWL'ing and of course Field Day =
for
many years. WB1Z was very active with both local radio clubs, MTARA and
HCRA. For the past two years Jim has been the program director for HCRA.

Jim was always there to lend a hand wherever needed and was a great =
advocate
for ham radio with everyone he met. He certainly will be missed.

As soon as the details of the funeral arrangements are confirmed I will =
post
