Hi everyone,
The October edition of Zero Beat is now available on the web at:
http://www.hcra.org/zerobeat/oct03.pdf. If you can't wait for your USPS copy
you can see it right now.
Chock full of good stuff, but I won't give it away. You will have to read it
to find out for yourself.
Don't forget about the club meeting this week. It's only a few days away and
as always will be an interesting one. Tom Frenaye, K1KI will be on hand to
let us know the latest happenings from the FCC and the ARRL. Also, bring
your right hand so you can raise it to volunteer for some of the great ideas
last month's survey uncovered. We're active and we're growing thanks to all
our member volunteers.
Be sure to renew or join before the end of the evening so you will have a
chance to win the Icom HT. No cost to enter, just renew by meeting's end and
you will be one of the select few to participate in the drawing. Plus our
usual monthly raffle prizes, good company, coffee & donuts and of course a
fun time.
What else is happening? Glad you asked. The classroom has been confirmed for
next years Technician Class license course, contest season is starting and
the HCRA annual auction is only a month away. Propagation has been pretty
good so turn on your radio and enjoy the fun.
'73 and see you Friday,
Jim, KK1W
