[HCRA] Field Day Publicity

Hellloooooo from 4 land,

I am still working on heading up north, that is the game plan depending on 
if I get assigned a last minute run for work somewhere. So I do hope to see 
y'all there, ya hear? If not I will let ya know which station to listen for. 
The local club usually has a small 2 or 3A op from NoVA.

Anyways, for the display board I think maybe we could get our hands on a 
piece of cork boad and have any attending hams bring their QSL Card for 
display. Its a good way of showing a bit of diversity in interests and 
creativity as well as taking attendance. Gives people something to get a 
good look at as well.

That being said I suppose I will have to print one up, sheesh.

As for publicity, the Reminder papers in CT and Western Mass should all be 
hit as well as the normal local news outlets.They didn;t publkish it in each 
one last time that I saw. Maybe each will need its own submission and make 
sure they post it for every regional addition instead of just 
Belchertown/Granby. Maybe we can put together a field day video for public 
access somewhere? Do 22 and 40 at lunch still do public events listings? How 
about Cox or ATT cable on their Community Access pages? *Boy for a guy who 
doesn't go to meetings I can get you guys working huh? What a moron!*

I will know by mid June what is going on. I really hope to see you at the 
park at least one day. Maybe I will even have my new 4 land call sign by 
then? Yeah I am changing it. Another 2x2 even. Maybe something funky with an 
X!

P.S. I do have that Cushcraft AP8A Multiband vert if it is needed last 
minute for a CW station or a digital station. Its laying in my backyard. If 
you DO need it tell me and I will let my parents know someone will come in 
get it if I am not there. It might give opff a few spurrs in a tight 
environment but won't be too bad if properly tuned with a good ground plane.
