Reminder

There is a Skywarn Spotter class Tonight at 6:30 to 9:30 in Westfield
sponsored by the Westfield Emergency Management Agency and presented by
the National Weather Service. The class presents the topics necessary
to turn the average citizen into an official "Skywarn Spotter" and you
get a nice Skywarn Spotter credential at the end of the class. You
don't need to be an Amateur Radio operator to attend the class. It is
open to all so bring a friend if you would like. You will learn how to
report weather events according to National Weather Service criteria and
how to recognize various severe weather conditions. The presentation
includes some history of severe weather in the local area. This will be
an interesting evening for all that attend.

Already a Skywarn Spotter? Been some time since your last class? This
is a good opportunity for you to renew your credentials and get up to
speed on any new information added to the presentation since you last
attended the class.
