The repeater is up at the site in Monson. All that remains is running =
the hard line. Unfortunately, Kurt Jackson mashed his foot bad enough =
to require surgery. I've been told that Guinness helps you heal faster. =
Looking forward to helping you with the recovery process!=20

So while Kurt mends, I thought I would look for folks interested in =
setting up a station. So far Eric Richardson, KB1JVI has expressed =
interest. Eric has a good line on the tower. I have three, 5 element =
commercial quality beam antennas and one 15 element that folks can use =
as well as an ATV receiver and transmitter. I say use, as it is uncouth =
to take one for ATV only to sell it. They are hard to come by and =
that's not in the spirit that they are given.

Also, I have a 40 foot telescoping tower that the Scouts or anyone else =
can use if they need something semi portable. You will need a pickup or =
van as it goes down to about 10ft. It weighs about 35 lbs. Also, it =
need guys of some kind for temporary setup. Tent stakes and nylon? =
Great for mountain topping. Bring your own antenna and rig. A few more =
things... a 10 meter all mode radio that runs off 12 volts (Scouts?!?) =
you could have some fun with this on your next trip. MFJ HF tuner for =
balanced or unbalanced line.

Have fun.
