I'd like to say a special thanks to the following people that spent
immeasurable time planning and working at this past 2003 HCRA Field Day.
Eric and Andy: Wow! What a feast. I haven't had a FD dinner (Saturday) this
good in nearly 18 years. Plus the lunches and other meals were fabulous too.
I know we all really appreciate what you guys did. I'm already looking
forward to next years menu. Great Job!
Steve - N1SR: For those that don't know, Steve spent tons of time making
sure the stations had the best possible antennas for the most contacts. I
know ours at 20 cw worked great. Plus, all the time figuring out station
placement, etc. We thank you very much!
Dave and Kate: What can we say except thanks for the incredible man (people)
power and time you spent putting up towers and organizing the generators for
power. I know you kept making rounds to make sure the generators were gassed
up and running properly. Plus luggin al the stuff to the FD site and back
home. Extra thanks to you both for the third straight year. We couldn't have
done it without you!
Jim - KK1W: Thanks for the contant flow of email info and planning. When
when there was lots of it, you kept us informed as the pres. of the HCRA
should. Plus all the work and planning with everyone to make FD 2003
actually work.
I was glad to see all the new hams there and participating. I know I made
new friends as I'm sure every one else did.
I had an enjoyable time. Thanks to everyone who participated, visited,
planned and enjoyed the event with us.
