[HCRA] Field Day - 2003

Hello all,

I am sorry but I won't be able to get up there for this year's Field day 
*notes the applause from the morons*, however, I will be throwing in my hat 
with K4HTA at the Vienna Wireless Club. A last minute trip to determine the 
survivability of Florida to a visit by a bunch of very crazy people with 
twited senses of humor and extremely creative ideas for wrecking the state 
came up and I suppose I have to go since they pay me more to go then Jim 
squared pays me to stay away. Hee Hee.

Anyways, I wish you all the best of luck and hope everyone has fun. Stop up 
to the park even for a couple hours and lend a hand cooking up some grub, 
operate on the bands you usually can't to test out that new rig you wanna 
buy, point out why the operators on 15 are lids, or even why the CW antennas 
only work on 75 yay em. See there really is something for everyone. I will 
be getting back up that way soon enough before the summer is entirely done. 
You didn't think I'd let ya off that easily did ya?

FYI, SKYWARN is up and running down here. Between every run, crick, brook, 
and river being up and over its banks and the thunderstorms tearing the 
rooves off of apartments its been an exciting few weeks this season. If ya 
head down thru this area and wanna hear the nets listen up on 147.300 + or 
146.79- no tones on either. The third back up for the area immediately 
around Arlington and Falls Church is 146.91 - (I think I know that frequency 
from somewhere......)
