Thanks for the plug, Marc.

Please do give this course serious consideration if you're involved or
plan to be involved in Amateur Radio emergency communications. There are
three course levels (I-III), but the federal grant reimbursement is only
for the Level I course.

Typically, there's an ARRL Certification and Continuing Education course
registration announcement each Friday PM on our Web site (we have other
courses too if you've already taken this one, and more are on the way),
and in The ARRL Letter that goes out that day.

No, I haven't taken the Level I course yet either, but I'll be getting
this message too!

You do have to pay the fee for the course upon registration, but you
will get reimbursed when you complete it. Such a deal!

The course is largely on-line.

Hi all,

On the ARRL web page (www.arrl.org) there is a story
on EC-001 Level 1 - Intro to Amateur Radio Emergency
Comms Course (ARRL Certification and Continuing
Education Courses). It is reimbursable upon
successful completion of the course. Anyone
interested in Emergency Comms should look into signing
up. Free is good! Seats will go fast!
