Hi everyone,
Well, we have a great meeting scheduled tomorrow evening, but ole' Mother
Nature may cause a problem. As of right now it looks like 6-12" of
snow/sleet/freezing rain for tomorrow evening.
Knowing the possibility of an 'inaccurate' weather forecast I think we
should wait until tomorrow to decide whether or not to cancel tomorrow's
meeting. I've seen other storms just not materialize the way everyone
thought they should.
If indeed it seems the most prudent course is to cancel the meeting we will
post the cancellation on the web page (http://wwwhcra.org), on this mailing
list, on Channels 22 and 40 and if possible on the 146.94 repeater.
Let's hope the weather people are wrong and we will get to enjoy a great
presentation with Dan Henderson from the ARRL Contest Branch. If not, at
least we will be able to sit home in front of our radios and explore the
world of amateur radio without worrying about driving through the snow.
'73 and stay tuned - I'll keep you posted.
