The IRLP gang is holding a New Year's party on REF 9200. Sounds like a good
time to link up the HCRA node 7270 and see what's happening out there. A
copy of the article from the IRLP reflector follows:

Ring in the New Year on Reflector 9200.

Join the party on Reflector 9200 around the world as nodes celebrate
the arrival of 2004. By my calculation (which may be entirely wrong),
at GMT +13, the first nodes to cross over the annual boundary are those
in New Zealand. This means the party begins at 1100Z Wed-31-December,
or 0600 North America Eastern time.

The last nodes (I think) to fall over the barrier, are in Hawaii at GMT
-10, or at 0500 North America Eastern, Jan-1.

This is not a net, so feel free to jump in anytime and lets see how
many nodes can be simultaneously connected to the reflector. The
bandwidth available at the reflector site should support well in excess
of 100 connected nodes. Let's see if we can set a new record.

Many nodes have been blocked from Ref9200 for various reasons, All
previously existing node blocks have been REMOVED. But please review
http://dregs.us/reflector9200policy.html and make sure your node is
compatible before connecting. Avoid locking up the reflector.

Happy New Year!
