[HCRA] HCRA History, the early years.

For those of you that either missed or want your own copy of Dave's
PowerPoint presentation shown at the Holiday party this is for you.
Simply go to: http://www.hcra.org and just below the upcoming meeting
announcement you will find a link to download and view a copy.

Don't forget next weekend is the ARRL 10 Meter contest. This is the one
we did so well in last year. Want the details, point your browser to:
http://www.arrl.org/contests/rules/2003/160-Meters.html and read all the
rules. The neat thing about this contest is you can submit your score
for a personal goal and still have it count towards the HCRA club score.

After the contest, when you send in your logs all you need do is
indicate: Hampden County Radio Assn. in the "affiliated club" spot on
the log.

Less hope for good band conditions and great participation. If the bands
are soft but we have more participants we might be able to do just as
well as last year. HCRA had 12 entries last year. Want to see who did
what last year? Again, aim that browser at:
http://www.hcra.org/arrl_10m.htm for all the details. In addition to
scoring over 925K points many of our members received certificates for
their efforts.

Stay tuned to the reflector for more updates as we get closer to contest
time. After the contest why not post your score to the reflector so
everyone can keep track of our progress?
