Thanks for the heads up, Eric. I checked (since I was not expecting the
paperwork to go through until Monday), and my wife, Jean Collier, is
KB1JVD. She's thrilled.

You can go to the ULS Web site and click on "Advanced Search"
http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchLicense.jsp, check off
HA for Amateur and search by last name and ZIP code (or click on
"Amateur" and enter your last name and ZIP code). That should bring up
your license info. 

Congratulations to all who passed their exams!

Dear fellow new tech.'s, 

I just looked online at the FCC website and we (well I) got our call
signs now. It helped me by putting in my last name, and searched my
receipt date in descending order. Mine was 2nd from the top. I will soon
be getting a secondary e-mail address. I hope to hear all of you on the
air soon, as I will now be looking for a rig.
