[HCRA] 10m or no 10m?

Earier this week, there was a question whether or not to run a 10m
station.
The bands have been weak at best in the recent past.

Last night, while talking locally, KK1W and I were interrupted not once
but twice
by 10m contacts in North Carolina, and Maritime Mobile in Virginia!

You say, so what?  I say, I hope it carries on to this weekend. In just
those states,
hundreds of contacts can be made.  Afterward I worked Ohio and he was
S5-S7,
5x9 (really), the whole time.

So, why aren't you going to be at Field Day, the W1NY way?

We'll start off the Field Day weekend at Dr. Deegan's in Chicopee
(Brown Baggers).
Lunch at 12:NOON.   (talk in on 146.94).

Setup for field day starts at 2:PM (edt) at Dufresne Park, Granby, MA.
(right off
of Rte202).

The Event starts at 2:PM (edt) Saturday and ends at 2:PM (edt) Sunday.

Come on down to help setup, operate, or just to chit-chat with friends!

VE Session at the Pavillion, 8:PM Friday night.  All elements including
Element 1, 5 WPM morse code.  Bring 2 forms of ID, an original and a
copy of your present license, and $10.
