Jim:
I think you forgot to mention, that there will be plenty of fun.
I'm sure there will be the "big fan" of field day there!
VE Session, Friday night, 8:PM All Elements, all are welcome
We're family oriented:
Hiking
Fishing
Playscape
Swings & other playground equipment
Camping
Indoor "facilities", not a port-a-potty
Good Food, Good Friends, Good Conversation all through
the day and night!
Oh... by the way... there's a ham radio event going on. Participation
is optional. We'll be operating HF and CW on a variety of bands.
There will be demonstrations of Satellite communications, SSTV, ATV,
PSK31, packet, and RTTY.
If you'd like to come down just to look at the operation, you are welcome
to come on down and visit! Operate if you'd like, on whatever band or
mode that you'd like! Bring friends and family that MIGHT be interested
in our great hobby!
BSA Venture Crew DX will be there, helping out with operations! If you know
of any teenagers that "might" be interested in radio, and would like see other
youth as involved in operation, here's the time to spend even 1 hour!
Field Day operations are from 2:PM (eastern) on Saturday until 2:PM on
Sunday. Setup begins at 2:PM (eastern) on Friday. Overnighters are welcome
both nights.
Did I mention that the object of this game is fun and friendship for all?
Come on down, if not to operate, but just to put a face with that callsign!

I hope to see everyone at this great event!
