[HCRA] Modem

Just to let you know I have had my modem up and
running a few days but I haven't had a chance to fill
you in.

Apparently when loading the modem using W98SE I had to
have both sets of drivers installed plus uninstall any
otehr set up files associated with ESS plus install
the Actiontek modem NOT the ESS modem even though they
are ESS drivers. Do I know why? no. Do I care, well
yeah but since its running no. Hahahah! (Seriously,
maybe it has to do with the modem and audio
software/hardware being run by one set of drivers. I
am not sure. Why do they do that anyways?) Anyways,
thanks to Pete and Larry for their tips. I am just
glad I did not have to go into the registry. I would
have really been in a bind then.
