*FCC Batch Filing System Unavailable
**
*As of Tuesday morning, February 13, 2024, the FCC Electronic Batch 
Filing (EBF) system used by all VEC organizations for filing exam 
sessions, individual applications, and club license applications, is 
*not processing* VEC files.

Unfortunately, this means applications for new and upgraded licenses, as 
well as individual and club license filings are not being accepted into 
their system for issuance.

ARRL VEC alerted FCC staff about the issue, which they are working to 
resolve. The EBF system was accessible on Monday, so we were able to 
submit hundreds of applications into the system before it went down on 
Tuesday.

*As soon as the EBF system becomes available and fully operational*, 
ARRL VEC will submit the backlog of sessions and applications.

Additionally, the FCC will be closed on Monday, February**19, 2024, for 
Presidents’ Day and will reopen on Tuesday, February 20, at 8 AM EST.
Exam sessions and amateur applications are not normally processed by the 
FCC on holidays and will likely be further delayed until the EBF system 
is accessible.
