We are just beginning to discuss the possibility of forming an on-line
(zoom) Special Interest Group (SIG) or support group for the owners AND
operators of Flex radios. Many of us currently use these radios but don't
take advantage of their many capabilities and interfacing opportunities. In
addition, both of our club owned, shared Flex radios are underutilized (and
currently inaccessible to any operators).
Yes, there are several Flex Radio websites available and you can get good
support from Flex but, we don't have an informal, face-to-face discussion
group available.

I've tried to pull together a current list of owners AND operators but I'm
sure that I've missed a few current, past, or potential HCARC members
throughout the hill country.
These are the Flex owners that I've discovered by word of mouth:
- K4DG, Dale
- N9TX, Keith
- W5FBG, Dennis
- K5EWS, Jim
- K5LJB, Joe
- K0MHC, Jim
These are the Flex operators (that use shared Flex radios) I've discovered
by word of mouth:
- Someone used them during field day?
- No names so far (per Terry, W0HOIP)
You don't have to own a Flex radio to be able to operate one of the club's
shared Flex radios.
Any list additions, updates, corrections, questions, or suggestions would be
appreciated!
