I was wondering if anyone had a spare that I can use to test my theory. It will probably take several days to complete the testing since it is an intermittent symptom. Once I know that it is the power supply, I will order a replacement and return yours to you. Thanks for the bandwidth. Keith... Lesko said. She was approached to introduce the resolution by 12-year-old Raymond, N7KCB, from Peoria, Arizona.? ?I started?Long Distance Responders?so I can help prepare the community for emergencies with amateur radio,? said Raymond. ?There might be a price for a radio, but the ability and knowledge to help someone is truly priceless.? As Lesko?s resolution notes, World Amateur Radio Day (WARD) is celebrated annually on April 18 to commemorate the founding of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) in 1925, and she said her resolution recognizes the amateur radio community with a national day in the United States in 2021. The resolution cites?the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES?) for providing ?invaluable emergency communications services following recent natural disasters, including but not limited to helping coordinate disaster relief efforts following Hurricanes Katrina, Wilma, and Maria and other extreme weather disasters.?? http://www.arrl.org/news/arizona-congresswoman-introduces-national-amateur-radio-operators-day-resolution ______________________________________________________________ South Florida DX Assoc. Many of us currently use these radios but don't take advantage of their many capabilities and interfacing opportunities. In addition, both of our club owned, shared Flex radios are underutilized (and currently inaccessible to any operators). Yes, there are several Flex Radio websites available and you can get good support from Flex but, we don't have an informal, face-to-face discussion group available. https://community.flexradio.com/discussion/7876577/support https://groups.io/g/FlexRadioSmartSDR https://www.youtube.com/user/FlexRadioSystems/featured https://www.flexradio.com/support/ I've tried to pull together a current list of owners AND operators but I'm sure that I've missed a few current, past, or potential HCARC members throughout the hill country. These are the Flex owners that I've discovered by word of mouth: - K4DG, Dale - N9TX, Keith - W5FBG, Dennis - K5EWS, Jim - K5LJB, Joe - K0MHC, Jim These are the Flex operators (that use shared Flex radios) I've discovered by word of mouth: - Someone used them during field day? - No names so far (per Terry, W0HOIP) You don't have to own a Flex radio to be able to operate one of the club's shared Flex radios. Any list additions, updates, corrections, questions, or suggestions would be appreciated! 73, Jim K0MHC/5 Kerrville, TX
