To: w4wj <w4wj at aol.com>
The South Texas Section is seeking a new STX Section Traffic Manager
(STM) to collect, manage and report to STX Staff and ARRL HQ activities
of STX Section traffic nets.

Kathy Parkes, K4BBY is stepping down as STX STM.

My thanks to Kathy for her work and service to the STX STM job.

So, I am seeking someone to fill the position of Section Traffic
Manager.

The job description is listed on the ARRL.org at
http://www.arrl.org/section-traffic-manager

Basically, experience needed is familiarity with traffic handling
modes;
Technician class license or higher and a full ARRL Membership.

Interested persons please look over the web page and consider
applying.

To apply, send me an email at ke5zw at arrl.org with the following
information:

1. Full name
2. Call sign
3. License class
4. Length of time licensed
5. City and county you live in.
6. HF capabilities
7. Description of experience in amateur radio and net operations.
8. Describe why you wish to be the STX Net Manager
9. Any ideas to enhance participation in traffic nets and stream line
the reporting processes.

This is a STX Section level appointment, which reports directly to the
Section Manager and HQ.

There may be a lag in the reporting of traffic net information to ARRL
HQ until a new net manager is appointed, so please bear with us.

The position is open for applicants until filled.

Any questions, direct them to me, Paul Gilbert, KE5ZW, South Texas
Section Manager at ke5zw at arrl.org.
