I've used Mike's Crane & Services Kerrville | TX 78028
(830) 739-4704
A couple of times for a nominal cost of a couple hundred dollars.
I hope the tower is well guyed for that antenna.

Subject: [HCARC] Tower work

Hi all,

I currently have a Rohn 35 tower that is 40 feet tall. Well it will be
later this afternoon when I install the last couple of sections. I will be
topping it with a SteppIR DB-18e that weighs a bit over 100 pounds. I have
been looking into options to get it to the top of the tower. It is just too
heavy for me to manhandle it up there even with a gin pole. So far, the
only good way I have come up with to accomplish this is to hire a crane. I
am just wondering if there is anyone in the group who has a less expensive
solution to this problem. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks in
advance.
