Steve Cerwin (WA5FRE) is doing the program this week on ?Radio Antennas 
and Propagation.?? Steve retired from Southwest Research and has 
traveled the country offering this program so we are incredibly 
fortunate to have him be our presenter.

Program will begin promptly at 10 AM this Thursday at Medina United 
Methodist Church?s Fellowship Hall.

If you want to take a test for your Ham License (or upgrade) there will 
be a VE Team on hand to administer a test.

It ought to be a GREAT DAY for Ham Radio

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at Buzzy's BBQ.  We will grab a bite

As we all know today is ARRL Field day today with computers and complexed radios that we have today Solar power gas power generators beam antennas and various other things that I  failed to have mentioned I just wonder what it was like on field day in the 1930s in the 1940s bringing out their radios and running on emergency power. It would be amazing to see some photographs or even hear some stories of what everybody did back then.

I read about that somewhere else BTW. That link won't work unless you 
delete the underscoresSouth (___________South) - the link should end 
with .html

20 meter phone is wall to wall with field day CQs and I even managed to 
work a couple of stations in south Florida on 15 meter phone. That was a 
bit of a surprise. Nothing heard on 10M or 6M.
