Harvey,

 

   Carl lived in Leakey, I use to run into him here in Bandera.  I think it
was last Sunday.  He went to another hams house to take down a tower.  He
went in the back by the tower.  After a couple hours, the wife of where he
was taking the tower down, looked out the window and seen him laying on the
ground next to the tower.  He had a massive heart attack apparently before
he even begun taking the tower down.

I'm trying to recall the ham from IL, K9 or something who lives in a small
mobile home park way out on IH10 west.  He comes to the Wed. coffee
occasionally.  Scott maybe.

He used to talk with Carl, KD5VK who lived in or near Leakey.

Carl, apparently suffered a fatal antenna/tower accident a week or so a week
ago.

Any ideas, information?  The obituary didn't give any information about an
accident.
