We had better pray for Global Warming.  Global Warming INCREASES the amount of arable land.  Global cooling shrinks the amount of arable land and causes famines.  The last “Little Ice Age” produced famine around the world and millions died of starvation.  Think how many more people there are now that need to be fed compared to the early 1800’s.   Imagine what would happen if wheat and corn production in the U.S. northern states ceased or was even diminished by 50%.  It only takes an average drop of 1 to 1.5 degrees centigrade to have the northern states and southern Canada covered with snow for most of the year.
