Your far better off using high-gain (directional) antenna's than amps.
Remember use the best coax and short runs. Coax losses are
a real "Killer" at 2.5 Ghz.
10' of RG-58 is 4.5 Db of loss at 2.5 Ghz. WAY over 1/2 your power.
(use LMR400 for more than a couple of feet of coax)
