[HCARC] Solar Activity Update 11

There were 2 X-class flares this morning.  One was ~ X 2  and the second 
was initially reported as X 9.3 at 1202 UT, about an hour ago.  This was 
a very large flare.  Looks like the absorption levels are quite high in 
the sunlit portion of the earth.  The first flare peaked at 0910 UT and 
was an X 2.2.  The SWPC issued a Space Weather Alert for an HF radio 
blackout lasting about an hour for sunlit portions of the earth.  Expect 
conditions to recover over a few hours.
