Harvey,

There were 3 C-class flares and an M1.2 flare between 2100 local and
0100 local last night.  There is some absorption right now. The MUF is
typically low this time of day.  The MUF will take care of WWV/WWVH on
10 and 15 and the absorption will take care of the 5 and 2.5 signals.
Bands should pick up later this morning unless more flares

One of the new groups that formed near the center of the sun has grown dramatically and one of the other groups has also shown some growth. There are 5 sunspot groups on the face of the sun and 3 of them including the 2 most dramatic ones will be there for about another week. Be sure and check the upper HF bands this evening and tomorrow.
